Who made Ethernal Cubs? Proud Lion Studios, a Dubai studio on chain since April 2022, with two Aptos collections and a game in testing. Every claim checked.

Ethernal Cubs is made by Proud Lion Studios, a software studio registered in the United Arab Emirates and based in Dubai. The same team put its first NFT contract live on Ethereum on 26 April 2022, moved that collection to Aptos, sold out a second collection of 2,000 on Aptos in a single evening in January 2024, and has been building games around those lions since.
That is the whole answer to "who made Ethernal Cubs". The rest of this post is the studio's record, line by line, with a public place to check each line. Every number below was read on 20 October 2026 from a block explorer, the Aptos indexer, or the studio's own live pages, and the links are in the text. Nothing in this post is about what is inside an Orb. For that, the reveal is on Thursday 22 October. For the story around the Orbs, read the fallen star lore.
Proud Lion Studios LLC is a custom software company. Its website lists AI agents, blockchain and Web3 products, mobile apps, games and SaaS platforms as its work, and the footer of every page carries the registration: Sharjah Media City, UAE, licence 2434681.01, with the Dubai office at Concept 7 near Circle Mall in Jumeirah Village Circle. The about page dates the company to 2021, says the whole team works from Dubai, and names the CEO as Amal Perera. It also says the studio runs its own AI video product, Leomen AI Studio, which matters here because the AI companion planned for Ethernal Cubs will be built by people who already ship AI products for a living.
The NFT side of the studio has its own site at proudlionsclub.com, where the core team is listed by name and role: Amal as founder and project lead, Jonathan as co-founder and head of operations, Raza as game developer lead, Manuja as game developer, Sheharyar as full stack and blockchain developer, and Asad as lead artist. A team that puts names on a page can be held to what it ships. That is the point of this post.
The studio's first collection was Proud Lions Club, lions and lionesses minted on Ethereum. The contract is a verified ERC-721 at 0xA83B409bE1Ad79EF27d8e14a3d6aAeD7B40959Dc. The creation transaction is in block 14,661,234, timestamped 26 April 2022 at 16:40 UTC. On 20 October 2026 the explorer shows a total supply of 2,013 tokens held by 367 addresses.
Those are modest numbers, and we are not dressing them up. 2,013 is the number of lions that were actually minted, and 367 is the number of wallets still holding one more than four years later. What the first contract proves is simpler than scale: the studio has been deploying and maintaining contracts on a public chain since the spring of 2022, through a full bear market, without walking away.
The collection was later mirrored to Aptos, where the studio has done most of its building since. The Aptos collection is 0xdcf9ff44365801355b818bf1e59f309d335bc80821c032df0b7e6a0cabfd3d25. Its on-chain description says the lions "originated on the ETH chain and transitioned to the APTOS blockchain". The indexer shows 1,350 minted against a cap of 5,000, held by 179 addresses, and the collection's last transaction on 30 November 2023.
Two things worth knowing. First, there are copycat collections on Aptos using the same name, so the board at ethernalcubs.ai checks the collection ID above and not the name. Second, if you hold these lions, that holding is already worth whitelist spots for Ethernal Cubs. The rules are in the holders' guide.
The studio's second Aptos collection was GUI LIONS, 2,000 lions minted with the $GUI token. The collection is 0x54231f4fc52f598a981551f447b7bfe5680cd33fb8557e0763b3b70dd9d42bb6, and its own description calls it "the first ever NFTs on APTOS to be minted via the $GUI token".
The mint happened on 14 January 2024. We pulled the mint events for individual tokens from the Aptos indexer on 20 October 2026: GUI LIONS #1000 minted at 18:20 UTC, GUI LIONS #1 at 20:15 UTC, and the collection's last transaction that day is stamped 20:31 UTC. All 2,000 went in a little over two hours. Today the 2,000 tokens sit in 1,000 distinct wallets, which, two years and nine months after the mint, is the retention figure we are proudest of.
One more detail for the technically minded: the collection's metadata URI points at arweave.net, so the artwork is stored on Arweave rather than on a company server. If the studio disappeared tomorrow, the lions would still load.
Ethernal Cubs is a game first, so the studio's game record matters more than its mint record. The main title is Jungle Run, an endless runner built in Unity on Aptos. It has been in public testing for a while: the PC and Mac prototype runs in a browser on itch.io, and an Android beta build is downloadable from the same page. The studio's own case study lists Unity and Move as the tools and keyless social login as the onboarding, and marks the status as in progress.
We want to be exact here, because this is the kind of claim that gets inflated. Jungle Run is not finished and it is not in the app stores. It is a playable, downloadable game that has been through two public test rounds. The club site also describes Roarlinko, a prize game for holders, and the studio's project list includes a small game called Emojicoin Toss.
Some older pages from this studio carry figures and partnership claims that we could not check against a public ledger or a third party source today. They are not in this post. We would rather give you five facts a stranger can confirm than fifteen you have to trust.
Ethernal Cubs is the next game from the same people: Cubs you build and customize from the parts you collect, a game to play them in, and an AI companion that will come later. It mints as 3,333 sealed Orbs on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 with chain ID 4663, which we confirmed against the public RPC on 20 October 2026. The mint is free, you pay only gas, and it opens on Thursday 29 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC on OpenSea. The whitelist board closes on Wednesday 28 October at 23:59 UTC. The full timetable is in the mint day checklist, and the five steps of the game are on the How to Play page.
A free mint is a question of trust in the other direction. You are not risking a mint price, you are risking your time, and the studio asking for it has been on chain since April 2022 with two collections still held and a game you can download today.

Yes. The core team is listed by name and role on proudlionsclub.com, and the CEO, Amal Perera, is named on the studio's about page with a LinkedIn link. The team never sends the first direct message on X or Discord, so anyone who messages you first claiming to be from the studio is not.
Open the Ethereum contract on any explorer and read the total supply and holder count. Open the two Aptos collection IDs in the Aptos explorer and read the supply. For the GUI LIONS mint time, open any token in that collection and look at its first event. For Jungle Run, open the itch.io pages and press play. None of these steps need a wallet.
Yes. Holders of Proud Lions Club on Aptos and GUI LIONS can claim whitelist spots on the board by signing one free message in Petra, on top of anything they earn from tasks. The snapshot has already been taken, so buying now will not add spots. Everything else about the mint, including the Orb tiers and what is inside, is published from the reveal on 22 October onwards.
The studio's record is public and the mint is nine days away. Earn your spot before the board closes on Wednesday 28 October at ethernalcubs.ai.
