Bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain with MetaMask's Swap button, the official Arbitrum bridge (10 minutes in, 7 days out) or a card. Fees checked 2 October 2026.

The easiest way to bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain is the Swap button inside MetaMask: choose ETH on the network where you hold it, choose ETH on Robinhood Chain, and confirm. For larger sums the official Arbitrum bridge is better value: a deposit takes about 10 minutes, and the only fee is the Ethereum gas for one transaction, between 3 cents and about 2 dollars on the deposits we looked at.
There are also fast third-party bridges, and a card option that skips bridging altogether. This guide compares all four. Every figure was checked on 2 October 2026 against the official documentation, the bridge itself and both chains.
Robinhood's own support article says you can bridge ETH using the canonical Arbitrum bridge or partner bridging routes. MetaMask builds bridging into its Swap button, and OpenSea lets you pay by card.
MetaMask's swaps user guide lists Robinhood Chain among its supported networks, checked on 2 October 2026, and says bridging between networks is done through the same Swap button on the extension and on mobile. You never leave your wallet, so there is no bridge website to find and no fake one to land on.
The guide breaks the cost into the quote rate, the network fee and a MetaMask fee of 0.875%. On $10 of ETH that fee is about 9 cents. On $1,000 it is $8.75, which is why the official bridge suits large sums better.
Behind the button MetaMask acts as an aggregator. It says it sources bridging from providers including Li.fi, Across, Stargate and Relay, the same names the Robinhood Chain documentation lists. The time shown in the quote is an estimate. If Robinhood Chain is missing from your network list, add Robinhood Chain to MetaMask first.
The Robinhood Chain bridging documentation calls the canonical bridge the trustless default: no third-party validators, with security inherited directly from Ethereum. We opened it on 2 October 2026 and it loaded with Ethereum as the source and Robinhood Chain as the destination.
The official bridge charges no bridge fee. You pay Ethereum gas for the deposit transaction, so the cost depends on how busy Ethereum is when you press the button.
We measured it. The documentation publishes the address of the chain's Delayed Inbox contract on Ethereum, where deposits land. We looked at the 36 successful ETH deposits made there between 12:57 UTC on 1 October and 05:17 UTC on 2 October 2026. Nearly all used exactly 91,067 gas, whatever the amount bridged.
Dollar figures use an ETH price of $2,723.90 from CoinGecko at 06:07 UTC on 2 October 2026. Minutes later Ethereum's gas price was about 0.10 gwei, which puts a deposit at roughly 3 cents. If the fee your wallet shows looks high, wait an hour and try again.
You need very little on the other side. On 2 October 2026 the official RPC reported a gas price of about 0.034 gwei at block 78,005,422. At that price a typical NFT mint of around 150,000 gas costs about 0.000005 ETH, between one and two cents. There is no reason to move more than you plan to use.
Getting in is quick. Getting out through the official bridge is slow by design. The documentation describes a withdrawal as three steps:
The wait is not a fault. It is the window in which a false withdrawal could be challenged, the price of a bridge that trusts nobody. The money does not arrive by itself after 7 days: you have to claim it, and the claim needs a little ETH on Ethereum for gas. MetaMask Swap and the fast routes go both ways without the wait.
The bridging documentation lists these partner routes. The speeds are the documentation's own wording.
These work from networks the official bridge does not reach. Relay's Robinhood Chain page, opened on 2 October 2026, offered ETH on Base to ETH on Robinhood Chain straight away. The trade is speed for trust and cost: a fast route relies on its operator, and it charges a fee on top of gas. Open these services from the official documentation, not from an advert or a search result.
OpenSea's Robinhood Chain announcement of 11 July 2026 says you can add funds with Apple Pay, a debit or credit card, or crypto to trade on Robinhood Chain. For someone who wants to mint one thing, that removes the bridge from the picture.
The destination of a bridge should be a wallet you hold the keys to. The official bridge has an option called "Send to custom address", with its own warning to be sure you mean it. Leave it off.
Give it the full 10 minutes first, and check that your wallet is on Robinhood Chain and not on the testnet. If it still has not arrived, the funds are not lost. The documentation says a failed deposit, for example one with insufficient gas, can be redeemed manually from the bridge interface within 7 days.
The Swap button in MetaMask. Pick the ETH you hold on one network and ETH on Robinhood Chain as the token to receive, then confirm. It costs the network fee plus a 0.875% MetaMask fee.
About 10 minutes through the official Arbitrum bridge, according to the Robinhood Chain documentation. MetaMask Swap shows a time estimate in its quote, and the fast third-party routes take seconds to minutes.
The official bridge costs one Ethereum transaction of about 91,000 gas. On the 36 deposits we checked on 1 and 2 October 2026 that came to between about $0.03 and $2.14, with a middle value of about $0.15. MetaMask Swap adds a 0.875% fee to the network fee.
No. Robinhood's support article says the chain operates independently of the main Robinhood app and does not affect your investments, crypto balances or portfolio. You need ETH in a self-custody wallet, or you can add funds by card through OpenSea.
Once the ETH lands, our guide on how to mint an NFT on Robinhood Chain covers the rest. Ethernal Cubs is a free mint of 3,333 Orbs on Robinhood Chain on Thursday 29 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC, for wallets on the whitelist, so the only cost is that cent or two of gas. The whitelist board closes on Wednesday 28 October at 23:59 UTC, and the whitelist guide explains how to earn a spot. Everything else lives at https://ethernalcubs.ai/.
