Add Robinhood Chain to MetaMask in one click or by hand: chain ID 4663, the official RPC URL, ETH for gas, the explorer, and fixes for common errors.

To add Robinhood Chain to MetaMask, open the network menu and add it from the list of supported networks, or add a custom network with chain ID 4663, the RPC URL https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com and ETH as the currency symbol. That is the whole job, and it takes about a minute.
https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com
This guide gives you the exact values, three ways to add them, and the fixes for the errors people run into. Every value below was checked on 1 October 2026 against the official Robinhood documentation and against the chain itself.
These are the values published in the Robinhood Chain support article and in the developer documentation. Copy them exactly.

We did not just copy these from a page. On 1 October 2026 we sent an eth_chainId request to the official RPC and it answered 0x1237, which is 4663 in decimal, at block 77,147,948. The block explorer also loaded normally that day. If a site hands you a different chain ID for Robinhood Chain mainnet, it is wrong.

0x1237
There is no separate Robinhood Chain coin. Gas is paid in ETH, the same as on Ethereum, because the chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum technology.
This is the easiest route. MetaMask's help page on how to add a network now lists Robinhood Chain among its supported networks, checked on 1 October 2026. That means you do not have to type anything.
Because MetaMask supplies the details itself, this route removes the chance of a typo in the RPC URL or the chain ID.
If your MetaMask is older, or you use another EVM wallet such as Rabby, Chainlist's Robinhood Chain page will add the network for you. Chainlist reads the public ethereum-lists chain registry, and we confirmed on 1 October 2026 that chain 4663 is listed there with status active, ETH as its currency, and Ethereum as its parent chain.
Connect your wallet on the Chainlist page, click to add the network, and approve the request in MetaMask. Adding a network is not a transaction and costs nothing. If Chainlist ever asks you to sign anything beyond adding or switching a network, stop.
The registry also lists extra public RPC endpoints. One of them, robinhood-rpc.publicnode.com, also returned chain ID 4663 when we tested it the same day. The official endpoint is the one to start with.
Use this if neither of the first two works for you. On the extension, open the menu, choose Networks, then Add a custom network. On mobile, open the network dropdown, switch to the Custom tab and tap Add a custom network. Fill in the fields from the table above:
Click Save and the network appears in your selector.
If you use Robinhood Wallet, you skip all of this. The official support article says Robinhood Wallet natively supports Robinhood Chain with no manual setup. You still need ETH on the chain to pay gas.
One more thing that confuses people: Robinhood Chain is not your Robinhood brokerage account. Robinhood's own support page says the chain operates independently of the main Robinhood app and does not affect your investments, crypto balances or portfolio. A balance in the Robinhood app cannot pay gas on the chain.
The most common mistake is the testnet. It is a real network with free tokens for developers, and its chain ID 46630 looks a lot like 4663. Testnet ETH has no value and nothing you do there counts on mainnet.
Adding the network does not move any funds. ETH sitting on Ethereum mainnet will not show up on Robinhood Chain until it is bridged. The official route is the Arbitrum bridge with Robinhood Chain as the destination, and the documentation also names faster third-party bridges.
Fees are small. On 1 October 2026 the chain reported a gas price of about 0.02 gwei. Our guide on how to mint an NFT on Robinhood Chain covers bridging, what a mint costs and how to check the result on the explorer. If you are new to the chain itself, start with what Robinhood Chain is.
Robinhood Chain mainnet uses chain ID 4663, which is 0x1237 in hexadecimal. The testnet uses 46630. We confirmed 4663 directly with the official RPC on 1 October 2026.
The official public RPC is https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com. Robinhood notes that public endpoints are rate limited and points developers building apps to providers such as Alchemy, but for a personal wallet the public URL is fine.
No. Gas on Robinhood Chain is paid in ETH. You need a small amount of ETH on the chain itself, not on Ethereum mainnet.
Yes, as long as the details come from an official source. Adding a network only tells your wallet where to send requests. It does not give anyone access to your funds.
