Ethernal Cubs is a free mint of 3,333 Orbs on Robinhood Chain, opening 29 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC. Here is what an Orb contains, the real drop tables, and the exact point values that earn a whitelist spot.

There are 3,333 Orbs and the mint price is zero. The only cost is Robinhood Chain gas, which runs to about a cent, so what a whitelist spot really costs you is the effort of earning it.
Below is what an Orb actually contains, the real drop tables, and the exact point value of every task on the board.
A spot reserves one Orb from the 3,333. An Orb is not a finished character, and that trips up almost everyone arriving from a normal PFP drop. The chain of events is short:
Every part is its own token, and parts re-equip at any time, so a Cub is never locked to the way it minted. There are 155 trait artworks across those eight categories, which multiply out to 13,250,591,640 possible Cubs. Rarer parts raise a Cub's rarity score and its combat power, so a rebuild is a stat change as well as a look change.
The supply maths is worth a moment. The whole drop is 3,333 Orbs at seven parts each, eight from gold upwards, so around 25,300 parts exist and each Cub locks eight away. Division says about 3,160 Cubs, but a Cub needs one part in every slot and the draws never land perfectly even, so the real ceiling is around 3,000 Cubs at once.
Orbs come in five tiers, and the tier stays sealed until you open it. These are the actual on chain drop tables, not a marketing approximation:
Opening takes two transactions and about a minute, and the delay is deliberate. The tier and the parts are decided by a seed nobody knows at the moment you open. If the outcome settled inside your own transaction, a determined minter could simulate, revert and retry until a Sapphire appeared. So the Orb burns, the seed reveals, and the parts land after.
A forge path is designed in as an alternative to opening, burning the Orb for a token payout scaled to its tier instead of parts. The token is not live on any chain yet, so treat forging as planned, not available.
Spots are earned, and they stack. There are three routes.
Holding either Aptos collection is worth 1 spot, plus 1 more per 2 Proud Lions Club and 1 more per 3 GUI Lions, capped at 30 spots per holder. The holder snapshot was already taken, so buying more now changes nothing, selling does not cost you what you earned, and NFTs sitting listed for sale still count. The catch: you have to connect that Aptos wallet, sign a message binding it to your EVM address, and verify during the campaign. A holder who never shows up gets nothing.
50 points buys 1 spot, up to a maximum of 4 spots from tasks. The live board:
Do the arithmetic before you start, because it changes how you play it. The fixed list totals 150 points, which is exactly 3 spots. The fourth has to come from referrals, and only 4 referrals are counted, worth 60 points. A full clear plus four counted referrals lands on 210, past the 200 needed for the cap.
Two mechanics people hit cold:
The team runs games and competitions that award spots directly rather than points. Those are judged manually, are uncapped, and are announced in Discord and on X.

One clarification, because the name misleads: Robinhood Chain is a public EVM Layer 2, not a brokerage product. You do not need a Robinhood account to mint, nothing here touches one, and no broker is involved in or associated with this collection.
It is a build, not a pull. A Cub's stats come from the parts equipped, and parts re-equip for free, so the collection rewards accumulating and rearranging rather than flipping a lucky mint. Your first Cub is free to form, each one after costs 0.005 ETH, and deconstruction costs 0.001 ETH.
Battles have real stakes. Staking a Cub costs 0.003 ETH. A match is three rounds, best of three, with your three stat picks sealed in advance so nobody can counter pick them. Losing drains a battle gauge that carries between matches instead of resetting, and an emptied gauge hands your Cub, with all eight parts inside it, to whoever beat you. If you would not want to lose a build, take it apart first.
There are prizes, and there is a record of shipping. Proud Lion Studios has been building on chain since April 2022. Its GUI LIONS collection sold out 2,000 pieces in two hours and fifteen minutes on 14 January 2024 and still has a thousand separate holders. Its 2022 fusion mechanic, one of the earliest on Ethereum, was used 98 times by holders. All of that is verifiable on chain, which is the only kind of track record worth quoting.
The AI companion layer is not switched on yet. The design is that each Cub is a companion you talk to, with a personality drawn from the parts it is built from, extended by Power Orbs for Memory, Creative, Knowledge, Wisdom and Vision. A Power Orb is an upgrade for a finished Cub, a different object from the sealed Orb you mint. Treat it as the direction of travel, not a day one feature.
Yes. The mint price is 0. The only cost is Robinhood Chain gas, about a cent. It is not open to everyone though, because spots are earned rather than bought.
An Orb. It is sealed, its tier is unknown until you open it, and opening burns it and mints seven random parts, or eight from Gold up, that you assemble into a Cub.
Routes stack. Tasks are capped at 4 spots, the Aptos holder route at 30 spots per holder, and competition awards are uncapped.
No. Robinhood Chain is a public EVM Layer 2 with chain ID 4663. Any standard Ethereum wallet connects to it, and no brokerage account is involved.
No. The snapshot has already been taken, so the count is fixed, and you still have to connect and verify during the campaign for it to become spots.
The whitelist board is live at ethernalcubs.ai. Clear the three gate tasks first, Discord, X and Telegram, because everything else stays locked until you do.
